I've known Hannah Half Moon for many moons. The moon analogy aligns perfectly for this observational comment: I've watched her, from distances ranging from five feet to 500 miles, blossom through many cycles of the new moon to the full moon. She's demonstrated exponential growth in confidence, insight and acceptance of her "being" in both the non and the verb tense.
Though I cannot perceive auras (long sigh), this I KNOW: HHM radiates light, lightness, and lightfulness. Long before mindfulness became the latest "thing" HHM was mindfully shedding the negativity of innate and acquired fear that every human who's not content to stagnate (or worse, go backwards) must confess, confront and conquer. If you have been thinking about adding positivity to your day-to-day life, check out one of her classes. Prices are very reasonable, and her ability to give as-needed individual attention in a group setting, without disrupting the flow of the class as a whole, is as unique as Hannah herself. Many yoga instructors are difficult to follow, some are a even a bit pretentious or make us feel inadequate. HHM is encouraging and she makes it easy to keep up at a pace YOU are comfortable with. You will gain confidence with each session while improving your body/mind/spirit connections. Bottom line: Hannah's refusal to climb over (or push aside) others to assume (what I believe is) her rightful place at the top of the San Diego area metaphorical "yoga instructor totem pole" is an affirmation of the fundamental essence of her character... the walk consistently matches the talk. I AM CERTAIN the day will come when Hannah receives the recognition she already deserves. On that day, being not as humble as Hannah, I will brag "I knew her when..." Namaste, Debra Roberts "Really great! Excellent conversation and Hannah did a great job guiding the conversation."
-Molly Wood My 7 year old son was lucky enough to take multiple yoga lessons with Hannah. He had zero experience with yoga, but Hannah made the classes fun and interesting. She is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about teaching yoga to children. He loves to come home and share what he learned from her class with the whole family and I look forward to him continuing lessons with her. I highly recommend her fun, safe, entertaining classes to any child!!
-Sarah I watched as Hannah taught children of all ages. They absolutely love her! She is happy, patient and passionate about teaching. Not only do the children learn, but they have a lot of fun doing it! I highly recommend Ms. Hannah's classes. She is amazing!!!
-Stephnie Hannah is such a creative and inspiring yoga instructor. Her passion and energy are contagious, and I've really enjoyed her yoga classes. She provides thoughtful transitions and modifications, and she makes the class fun by introducing playful and imaginative poses. I highly recommend yoga with Hannah.
-Rebekah I have some shoulder issues that prevent me from doing a lot, and Hannah recorded a routine that I can do that helps me continue my yoga practice without having to force my shoulders in any position that isn't right. I highly recommend Hannah for in person or online yoga instruction.
